What is a run coach?
A run coach serves as a guide/mentor figure to help you unlock new levels along your run journey. An Oak Endurance run coach provides a structured plan that is individualized towards you and your goals, but will also push you to gain a greater sense of clarity on why you are chasing them in the first place. Furthermore, they provide accountability and a trustworthy space that you can utilize for questions and other resources.

What are your qualifications as a run coach and personal trainer?
I’ve been a consistent runner for over ten years that has numerous certifications and thousands of hours of study on relevant items in the world of both run coaching and personal training. I’ve also worked with over 100 runners ranging in age from 10-60+ through the following settings; 1:1, 2:1, 3+:1, virtual coaching, high-school track, destination race trips, and more.

What does a professional trainer do, and how are they different from other industry professionals?
Main responsibilities in my day to day include (but aren't limited to) program design, form correction, injury prehab exercises, corrective exercise, gait analysis/form development work, run programming, and stretching/mobility plans.
